YMCA Schlesische Oberlausitz continues to empower youth through meaningful volunteering opportunities across Saxony, Germany.
With over a decade of experience as both a sending and hosting organisation for individual voluntary service under the European Union programmes, the association is now recruiting new volunteers for several impactful projects starting this year.
The 2 (two) volunteering positions are open to young people aged 18 to 30 and span across multiple community-based settings, including Christian child and youth work, alternative education, social integration programmes, and school clubs. Volunteers are welcomed from across Europe, with the aim of fostering cross-cultural learning and community development.
Each volunteer will be provided with accommodation—typically shared flats or host families—and integrated into a vibrant community of changemakers. Projects place strong emphasis on team spirit, creativity, social responsibility, and openness to Christian values.
Those interested in joining can contact the Volunteer Coordinator, Malgorzata Pyzik, at efd@cvjm-schlesien.de or visit the YMCA Schlesische Oberlausitz website. More information available in the flyer below.
This initiative highlights the YMCA’s continued commitment to empowering young people, fostering inclusion, and promoting active citizenship across Europe.
