The YMCA Hub in Baia Mare provides:
- Access to Digital Learning: Young people benefited from over 700 sessions aimed at developing essential skills.
- Modern Infrastructure: A computer lab equipped with 47 high-performance devices enables hands-on digital training.
- Extracurricular Opportunities: Vibrant workshops, digital storytelling sessions, and innovative programmes create a holistic learning environment.
- More than just a learning centre, the hub fosters connection and collaboration, empowering young people to innovate and shape their futures.
Bridging the Digital Divide
YMCAs partnership with HP and other organisation has been instrumental in addressing digital inequities:
- Over 900 pieces of digital equipment, including headphones, laptops and tablets, were distributed in 2023–2024.
- Schools in rural and disadvantaged areas gained access to online learning platforms and tools, transforming educational opportunities for students and teachers.
- 30 youth leaders and educators received specialised training in using digital tools effectively, amplifying the programme’s reach and impact.
