Since December 1, 2015, the National Alliance YMCA Moldova develops the winter campaign „A warm lunch, a warm word." During the campaign, food will be collected and it will be used to prepare warm meals for those who are less fortunate than the rest of the community and need to beg for money and a piece of bread on the Chisinau streets.
For this purpose, the National Alliance YMCA Moldova relies on the volunteers´ support. Volunteers are aged between 15 and 25 years and together with other committed people, wish to provide all their help making others a bit happier during the winter.
The campaign „A warm meal, a warm word" will take place during 3 months, and lunch (tea and warm pies).
The project is attended by 10 volunteers who distributed to the needy people over 60 hot lunches (soups, sandwiches, pies, tea) on several streets in the capital of Moldova, Chisinau. The starting point was str. Columna and the stop – the undergrounds near the shopping center ”????", Bd. Moscovei.
