The Peace Work Institute Planning Team welcomes you to join the journey!
The PWI is a two-year-long scheme requiring commitment of minimum four weeks for residential activities, with homework assignments in between.
Those activities are:
- PWI Training Session One: April 3 – 9, 2017 (Tbilisi, Georgia)
- PWI Training Session Two: November 12 – 18, 2017 (Berlin, Germany)
- Roots for Reconciliation Follow-up Projects by PWI Graduates: through 2018 (location tbd)
- PWI Alumni Reunion: Fall 2018 or Spring 2019 (location tbd)
The call will be open until January 15, 2017. The PWI Planning Team will carry out the final selection of the participants, so that those enrolled are notified by February 1, 2017. The criteria of selection are entirely merit-based, regardless of nationality, race, religion and gender. Endorsement and pledged mentoring support from sending organisations will be highly appreciated.
The participation fee for the overall scheme is Euro 1’500. YMCA Europe will meet the rest of the costs. Full or partial subsidisation of the participation fees is possible if complying with the Roots for Reconciliation eligibility criteria.
